My only regrets is that apparently the focus is made on the biginning of the wing rather than on the head. but not easy to make if it is an instant shot
Otherwise, I like the colors, composition and the nice bokeh

@Laurent: agreed, though this is more a function of the wind and macro photography than a focus point. I was focused on the head, but the slight (very slight!) breeze swayed the flower while i was shooting. even though i was shooting at f11, the DoF is razor-thin at such magnifications. hence the apparent mis-focus. so, to make a long story short, i share your regret, though i liked the shot nonetheless...
I love your macro shots. Do you use a special lens or extensions or what? You are very skilled at this type of photography. I enjoy your work.

@Kelela: Kelela:
the majority of my macros are shot with nikon's 105mm f2.8 vr macro. i also occasionally use my 35mm f2 macro, and (rarely) my quantaray (sigma) 24mm f2.8, reversed. the 105mm is by far my favorite, though...
i do use extension tubes, though not on this shot. the bee shot from a few days ago was shot with stacked extension tubes...
Perfection, i wouldn't change a thing..I'd be very proud to have taken this!

@Lorraine: thanks, lorraine. i was very happy overall; thrilled that she landed on the flower i was shooting, excited with the results. but we can always strive to do better...
