for reasons probably far too long to go into here, colin's nickname is cbgb. and yes, that is in fact after the legendary nyc nightclub known as the birthplace of punk.

as an aside, i find it considerably easier to photograph a bee busily flying between flowers, or swarming ants, or fluttering butterflies, than it is to photograph a 3-year-old at a playground...
