@Miss Ruthie: yeah, she kept turning to face the camera. i think she was attracted by the flash...either that, or maybe she liked me. :)

@Alessandro: this is actually the second pic i've posted of this damselfly. as i explained with the first pic, she landed on the island in my kitchen and seemed unable to fly away. she would flap her wings, but not go anywhere. so i snapped probably thirty pics, while she just kept turning to face the flash. eventually, i finished and she flew off...

Great shot! I like all the diagonals leading through the picture. I'd just remove the dust spots, though ;-)

@dee: Yeah, I noticed those yesterday at work. I didn't have time last night to fix 'em, though it is on my "to do" list.
My sensor needs a little playdate with my sensor swabs, methinks!
